The price for a Return Receipt as of January 27, 2019 is $2.80. Up from $2.75 set January 21, 2018, which was the same amount of January 22, 2017 -- to receive a postcard by mail. Emailed now costs ten cents more at $1.60.

Return Receipt forwards the sender a record of the delivery and among the included information is the delivery date along with the receiver and his or her signature. It may be bought in combination with select services offered by the U.S. Post Office.

Mailing by Return Receipt is also available when sending merchandise, specifically. The cost, up ten cents at $4.30 (Jan 27th).

Return Receipt [PS Form 3811] is a popular service for when mailing by Certified, Registered and Insured mail that gives evidence of delivery. Noting that PS Form 3811-A is used when buying after the mailing.
